Pinks

24 Mosaic Cinsault Rosé, Chateau Musar 2006   £4.10        £5.90       £7.70      £22.00

Bekaa Valley, Lebanon

Our first Lebanese wine, this Old World style rosé, a rich, deep pink coloured rosé made solely from Cinsault grapes grown on limestone soils. Drier than most popular rosés it has a summer pudding fruits aroma: ripe cherries, strawberries and blackcurrants and a full and fruity taste.

25 Vendange White Zinfandel 2008                     £3.40        £4.90       £6.30    £18.00

California / USA

This is a delicious medium sweet rosé made using Zinfandel grapes from the North Central Valley. The beautiful deep salmon pink arises from only macerating the grapes for a short time and then cool-fermenting!

26 Belvino Pinot Grigio Rosato 2008                £3.30        £4.60        £6.00     £17.00

di Pavia   Italy

The ‘Blush’ - a delicate pink wine full of summer fruit aromas and flavours. Made using the pink skinned Pinot Grigio from vineyards in the North West region of Pavia. This will particularly appeal to those looking for a slightly drier style of this refreshing group of wines. Our ‘house’ rosé.

27 Finca Flichman Malbec-Shiraz Rosé 2007       £3.10         £4.40        £5.70    £16.00

Mendoza Argentina

A fruitier fully bodied rosé than the ‘Blush’ or ‘White Zinfandel’ this delightfully crisp, refreshingly fruity, raspberry flavoured wine from Malbec and Shiraz is great value too

Sweet Wines

28 Recioto di Valpolicella Classico 2005 Bolla, Italy                          £5.00

A gorgeous red dessert wine with a pronounced plum, damson and dried fruit flavour with a sweet, chocolaty finish. A blend of Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella grapes which are allowed to shrivel on straw mats until the following February before pressing and fermentation. The new wine is aged 12 months in small French and American oak barrels followed by 6 months in bottle.

29 St. Stephan’s Crown, Tokaji Aszú5 2002 Puttonyos, Hungary      £4.00

Dessert heaven! This superb wine’s success is from the acidity of the Furmint grapes balancing the sweetness to create a wonderful experience of both taste and aromas - described by King Louis XIV as the “Wine of Kings and the King of Wines”!

30 Bowen’s Folly Noble Late Harvest Riesling 2007                           £3.00

A sweet luscious wine with a wonderful aroma and flavour. The naturally high sugar level is balanced by crisp, racy acidity, typical of the Riesling.

Champagnes

BIN                                                                                                                                        FLUTE            BOTTLE

B1 Bollinger Special Cuvée Brut, NV, Champagne France                       N/A         £55.00

One of the world's finest and most famous NV champagnes, quite rightly too!  Its full-bodied style results from the Pinot-dominated blend, the majority of which uses grapes from the Grand Cru village of Aÿ. A blend of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier.

31 Duval-Leroy Fleur de Champagne Brut, NV Champagne France        £7.50        £42.50

Dry and crisp with small bubbles – a must for real ‘champers’ fans! A fresh, modern style Champagne made using 75% Pinot Noir and 25% Chardonnay, drawn mainly from 20 ‘crus’ in the Montagne de Reims and the Côte des Blancs and matured for 3 years in the bottle before release.

32Prosecco Extra Dry, Fantinel, NV, Italy                                            £4.60     £25.00

This is a top class Prosecco and our signature drink. It’s the essential way to start chilling – just sit, lay back and watch the world go by as you savour the taste. A fresh, dry, fruity sparkling wine from the Prosecco grape – great over ice with a sprig of fresh mint or, alternatively, blue with a violet petal! Our ‘house’ sparkler!

33 Berri Estates Brut Rosé NV, South-Eastern Australia                       £4.10      £22.00

This cheeky little ‘Aussie sparkler’ deserves a place amongst the great celebratory wines of the world – in accordance with our laid back, great food and wine theme of the ‘Oz’ in Pepper & Oz – try it in a flute or flight glass with rose petals.

34 Codorníu Clásico 1872 Brut, Cava, NV Spain                                     £3.60      £19.00

Made from the classic Cava grapes (Parellada, Xarel-lo and Macabeo), we’ve introduced this perfect party fizz as other sparklers continue to rise in price. It's creamy and fresh with fine bubbles and a touch of complexity....ooohh!
