Guest Wines

Regularly updated we use Bins 52 to 55 to introduce new wines that are often not produced in sufficient quantities to form part of our main wine list.

Please see the blackboard in the Brasserie for the latest wines.

Among those we have sold are

Local Worcestershire & Herefordshire Wines:

Coddington Vineyard Pinot Gris 2006

This dry wine is great for drinking alone in the early evening sun due to its low alcohol content (11% ABV) or with food. It has a spicy bouquet with a taste of cinnamon and ginger - a very easy and approachable style – we recommend it!

Tiltridge Vineyard , 'Variations' Seyval Blanc / Worcestershire 2005

Another great drinking wine with 11% ABV this French grape variety prospers in the Upton vale and has been matured for some weeks in oak barrels; resulting in a dry wine with plenty of body and a hint of butteriness, without dominating the flavour.

Coddington Old Farm Bacchus 2006

This sauvignon blanc style wine is great for drinking alone in the early evening sun due to its low alcohol content (11% ABV) or with food. It has a floral bouquet with a taste of grapefruit and citrus - a very easy and approachable style – we recommend it!

Tiltridge Vineyard , 'Dorabella' Huxelrebe / Worcestershire 2005

A great drinking wine with 11% ABV this wine, Highly Commended – UKVA National Wine Competition 2006, is named after a friend of Elgar, Dora Penny, for whom he wrote the Dorabella Enigma Variation.  Made from our Huxelrebe grapes, a light, crisp, fruity wine – ideal for those long hot summer days and barbecues!
