A bit more about the Club:There is no rigid program. Emmanuelle starts each session telling you about pieces of news or relevant cultural facts and then the group splits naturally according to levels and interests. She goes from group to group to help the participants with vocabulary, grammar or pronunciation. For those interested Emmanuelle will send 1 or 2 email(s) between sessions with links to interesting article, points of grammar or vocabulary. Good food and wine are central to French culture so Malvern’s stylish brasserie, Pepper & Oz, was chosen by Emmanuelle as the perfect setting in which to host Le Club du Poivrier. Above all, our aim is for the participants to enjoy the experience. Please do come along and give it a go! | A bit more about Emmanuelle: Emmanuelle was born in Paris where she lived, studied and worked before moving to Malvern in 2000 to join her fiancé and now husband Chris. In the UK she soon noticed the lack of exposure to the French language. In France learning English is made much easier by the constant exposure to the English language on the radio, at the cinema and even on TV. In 2008, she trained with City University London to become a translator. She is now an Associate of the Institute of Translation & Interpreting. Currently Emmanuelle combines her translation activities with some French language tuition to children at a local primary school. She recently started conversation lessons for adults (one-to-one or small groups). To know more about Emmanuelle visit her website at: www.EJLanguageServices.com |
