Purple Farce! - Our Champagne Cocktail

A blend of 'Parfait Amour' a purple liqueur and champagne
to celebrate our parasol's legitimacy!

Amy Power, aged 17, (pictured above) celebrates two years working for Pepper & Oz and is the restaurant’s youngest and also longest serving member of staff.

Amy joined Pepper & Oz before Lynne and Pete Browne brought the restaurant in February 2007.

Pictured above launching a new champagne cocktail, named ‘Purple Farce’ - after the 12 month campaign to get the Brasserie’s infamous parasol legitimised – Amy is also a fan of the 55 wines all served by the glass that are being served in conjunction with the new summer menus launched this week.

Combining her college work with her part-time work and in depth knowledge of the food and wine at Pepper & Oz, she has provided the continuity across the ownership change last year and is a familiar face to customers, new and old.

Amy puts her success down to hard work and a genuine interest in the job – “I love working with people and have developed a passion for wine and food as a result of working both Front of House and with the Chefs producing the delightful food we serve” she says.
